Rudix is a world class collection of pre-compiled and ready to use Unix compatible software which are not available from a fresh installation of Mac OS X but are popular among other Unix environments (Linux and BSDs). Here you can find utilities, programming languages, libraries and tools delivered as standard Mac OS X packages.
October 16, 2007. Full distribution for Mac OSX Tiger (10.4) 100MB download. See what's new or grab the source code for the porting system.
To fit in a whole range of flexibility Rudix is graciously available as standalone packages. These packages were compiled as Universal Binary which make it possible to run on PowerPC machines on Tiger and very likely on Mac OS X Panther (10.3) too.
Rudix port system is developed and maintained by Rudá Moura and is licensed under BSD. Each software/package distributed in Rudix is covered under an appropriate license and ownership.
